I was very lucky to have my realtor (a friend) in Alexandria match me up with Ellen (now a friend) in Williamsburg! We had great fun together, and with her attention to detail and knowledge of the market, including combing the neigborhood where I bought for houses not on the market yet, I found a wonderful house on a lake in Governor’s Land. She even continued to help me with various workers i.e. painter, contractor, lighting, and landscapers. Besides her sparkling personality and confidence, Ellen helped me with some suggestions on selling my other house! We are close friends today…. and I recommend her to anyone who may move here, and is looking for the best realtor/broker in the area!

Ellen did a great job for us – We give her a 10!
-- Mr. and Mrs. BJ Walker
And we’ve been buying and selling homes for years. Ellen sold both of our homes in Ford’s Colony in a declining market, and we could not have been happier with her marketing and negotiation skills, professionalism, cheerful and caring attitude, determination, and integrity. It is rare to find all these qualities in one person — Ellen is exceptional!
-- Alice and Michael Kinsman
Ellen is a great person to work with. She marketed me as well as the home!
-- Mr. and Mrs. Dan Jones
A special note of thanks… straight from my heart. Thank you so much for everything you did to help me find a home I will be happy in. You were so patient and kind. It is truly a pleasure to work with you!

Ellen demonstrated the invaluable ability to build a strong professional relationship with me because she mastered the “little things.” Because of Ellen, I will always remember the experience of purchasing my first home with nothing but positive memories. I plan on referring every friend and acquaintance I have to Ellen so that his or her experience can be as wonderful as mine was!
-- Mr. Gene Robinson III
In this world, it is rare to find someone who does what she says she is going to do… Ellen consistently does what she says she will do AND MORE. She was there every step of the way. ELLEN RULES!

On all of Ellen’s e-mails to me while we were purchasing our home in Williamsburg, VA I became familiar with a slogan on her e-mail. The Difference is Ellen. That is so true. I am a retired Marine Corps Officer who has moved many times and have used the services of many Realtors. In the past twenty years I have purchased six different homes and have never encountered a Realtor who could even stand in Ellen’s shadow. She is truly outstanding and met our needs even before we requested help. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, an excellent communicator and professional in every sense. We were so fortunate to have her represent us. She took us through the entire process of purchasing a home and then when we found out we could not leave our home in Northern Virginia for a couple of years due to a variety of circumstances, Ellen immediately provided help and within a couple of days had the home leased for two years. If you are looking for someone who is honest, energetic, and knows how to get things accomplished, contact Ellen because Ellen is the difference.”

From our first meeting to the closing, Ellen’s professional real estate experience was evident, and she was by our side guiding the sale of our home thru these trying economic times. When issues arose, she notified us promptly and suggested solutions. During the entire sales process, she was always positive and kept us apprised of the challenging real estate market for our area. A terrific communicator.
In dealing with Ellen, two words came thru loud and clear. They are TRUST & KNOWLEDGE.
We were certainly fortunate to have ELLEN represent us for the sale of our home.

I am writing this letter to tell you how delighted my wife and I were with the competent advice and service provided to us by Ellen Gajda. As a ten-year veteran REALTOR myself, I know how difficult it is to navigate in today’s market. We had only 47 days from the time our home in New Jersey went under contract until we needed to move. On short notice, Ellen lined up 17 houses that met our criteria, including two that were not on the market. After two days, we reduced the number we were interested in to three – and then made an offer on one of the houses that was not on the market. In less than 12 hours, Ellen negotiated a deal for the house under the buyer’s asking price, and then set up and completed a home inspection so that we could get back to New Jersey and start packing.
Her knowledge of the local service providers allowed us to have a smooth closing and accomplish numerous changes to the house before the movers arrived. Ellen was always the courteous, knowledgeable professional who we will treasure as a friend forever. I would recommend her without reservation and have already referred friends from Pennsylvania to her.
-- Mr. Ken Caro
Love her! She is simply the best! You can’t improve on perfection. Ellen is a real gem that shines in a profession that is highly competitive and filled with not so perfect real estate agents. She is refined, sophisticated, and represents her company with loyalty and respect.
-- Ms. Amira Lamey and Mr. Paul Leemon
Ellen was on top of her game. She knew the market, quickly learned what we were interested in, and was a critical player during the negotiations.
-- Mr. and Mrs. Tom Strode

-- Mr. Robert Erikson
Superb in all respects! Thorough, thoughtful, timely and professional in every aspect of her business and guidance to both me and the seller. She routinely anticipated questions, provided timely information updates and made sure buyer and sellers interests were professionally and objectively met. I not only got service in the finest sense of the word, I made a new trusted and treasured friend. Would unreservedly recommend her to anyone.

I just bought my new home in Colonial Heritage and Ellen made it such a seamless experience! From day one, I felt like It only took Ellen a short time before she knew exactly what would be the right house for me, and did not waste my time showing me houses she knew would not work for me! Ellen is a true professional and always returned my calls within a very short time, regardless of the day or time. Such a pleasure to work with, and I will recommend her to all my friends and would use her again in a heartbeat!
