Prior to establishing her own company, focusing on “baby boomers” and beyond — Ellen was one of the top-producing sales agents at Long and Foster in Williamsburg. Additionally, Ellen was formerly the Principal Managing Broker with Sheeran Sotheby’s International Realty, where she excelled in marketing and selling luxury homes.
Ellen moved to Williamsburg in 2007 from Old Town, Alexandria, where she was a top-producing agent with McEnearney Associates, one of the top 100 productive firms nationwide and one of the top 10 productive offices in the state of Virginia. Jay Ponton has been an active, productive, and successful real estate licensee for 28 years! Since 1996, Jay’s annual production has placed him in the top 2% of all licensed agents in the United States, according to the National Association of REALTORS. In 1988, Jay began his estate career began with Dot Wright Realty, Hampton, VA, which merged with Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., the largest independently-owned real estate firm in the United States, in 1989. In 1990, Jay was awarded Long & Foster’s Rookie of the Year status in overall production for the Southern Virginia region.
From 1991-1997, Jay successfully represented various builders and led the sales and marketing efforts for: Hideaway Bay, The Carriage Homes of Woodcreek, Tradewinds at Kiln Creek, Salt Ponds on the Bay, and Hunter’s Glen. From 1997-2014, Jay successfully represented Anheuser-Busch/InBev, now Xanterra, in the sales and marketing of Kingsmill on the James, through Kingsmill Realty, Inc. and Busch Properties, Inc. Areas of expertise included development, lot sales, resort condominium sales, new construction and custom home building, and re-sale home sales. Jay is currently an Associate Broker and Senior Vice President with Williamsburg Realty. Throughout his career, Jay has annually maintained award-winning levels of production in both New Homes and Re-Sale Homes. He has also served on numerous committees for the Virginia Peninsula Association of REALTORS and the Williamsburg Area Association of REALTORS.
In 2002, Jay attained his Broker’s License and trained and served as a Certified Ethics Instructor for the Virginia Association of REALTORS. Jay’s family has had long-standing real estate ties to the Virginia Peninsula since the mid 1800’s. He graduated from McLean High School, McLean, VA and attended Christopher Newport College, Newport News, VA; George Washington University, Washington, D.C.; and Hampden-Sydney College, Hampden-Sydney, VA. Rhonda is a Hampton Roads native, calling Williamsburg her home for the past 23 years. Her experience includes Retail Management from Store Manager to Corporate Buying before entering Real Estate. She was the Administrative Assistant for the No. 1 independent family - owned residential real estate company in the United States, for 7+ years, where she serviced 60+ REALTORS® in the Williamsburg area. While she has many different roles in the office, her primary goal is to provide excellent service and support to the REALTORS®,affiliates, and clients. Rhonda enjoys spending time with her husband and family. Her greatest accomplishment is a mom to her children Ashley and Jack.
